Your analytics choice
Google Analytics 4 is enabled automatically to measure visits and clicks unless you have selected “Turn analytics off”. SerpTrack is enabled only when you select “Allow both”. Choose “GA4 only” or turn both off through the settings panel shown on your first visit or in the footer. The choice is stored as lm_analytics_consent_v1; previously saved rejections remain respected. Content and laptop selection tools work without analytics.
Data when analytics is allowed
GA4 uses analytics cookies. SerpTrack uses a random browser identifier st_vid in localStorage and session identifier st_sid in sessionStorage. This is pseudonymous data, not a guarantee that identification is impossible.
Analytics records pages, timing, device type, language, section interactions and clicks. Offer clicks can include the model/SKU, merchant, button placement and displayed price. This price is not a purchase amount. Our custom click code does not send names, email addresses, form contents or user search text; it removes URL queries and fragments from the links and referrers it sends.
Withdrawing your choice
The site stops new transmissions from both trackers, discards unsent SerpTrack events and removes SerpTrack identifiers and GA cookies on this domain. Previously received records are not automatically deleted. The choice applies to this browser; if storage is blocked, you may need to choose again after navigation.
Providers and network requests
Allowed analytics is sent to Google Analytics and the SerpTrack service. Web requests also pass through hosting provider Cloudflare; IP addresses and network information are needed to deliver pages. This is separate from the analytics choice above. Merchant links, maps and external search features are subject to their providers’ policies when used.
Information you provide
If you contact us, the message and contact details you provide are used to reply. We do not send the message contents as analytics events.
